O nas
Glasbeno društvo Cahn je bilo ustanovljeno 11. februarja 2019, z jasno misijo zapolniti praznino na glasbenem področju v lokalnem okolju ter odgovoriti na pomanjkanje glasbenih dogodkov za mlade in alternativne glasbene skupine. Ustanovitelji društva so prepoznali potrebo po platformi, ki bi omogočila ne le promocijo alternativne glasbe, temveč tudi omogočila povezovanje glasbenih ustvarjalcev in ljubiteljev glasbe iz različnih kulturnih in geografsko različnih okolij.
Društvo Cahn se osredotoča na negovanje in promocijo alternativne glasbe, predvsem znotraj žanrov punk, metal in rock, ki so v tem delu Slovenije pogosto spregledani. Ena izmed glavnih nalog društva je organizacija glasbenih dogodkov na prostem v toplejšem delu leta in v lokalnih prireditvenih prostorih pozimi. S tem želimo zagotoviti širšo dostopnost glasbe in omogočiti tako izvajalcem kot obiskovalcem bolj pristno in intimno glasbeno izkušnjo.
V sklopu naših projektov se ponašamo z večjimi in manjše glasbenimi dogodki, med katerimi je najpomembnejši CahnFest open air Trbovlje – mednarodni glasbeni festival, ki vsako leto pritegne izvajalce iz različnih evropskih držav, vključno z Italijo, Avstrijo, Madžarsko, Poljsko, Hrvaško in Slovenijo. Ta festival ima pomembno vlogo pri spodbujanju kulturne izmenjave, saj omogoča, da se glasbeni ustvarjalci iz različnih držav povežejo in sodelujejo na edinstveni glasbeni platformi.
Poleg tega društvo izvaja tudi Laudšprehrju Ringlšpil, projekt, ki daje priložnost slovenskim alternativnim skupinam, da predstavijo svojo glasbo širšemu občinstvu. Gre za dogodek, ki je postal prepoznaven in priljubljen, saj ponuja priložnost tako novim kot že uveljavljenim skupinam, da se pokažejo na lokalnem glasbenem odru. Prav tako prirejamo Glasbeni piknik, ki je osredotočen na izvedbe na prostem. Lokacija dogodka, zelenica v središču starega rudarskega naselja Terezija, ponuja edinstveno atmosfero, ki obiskovalcem omogoči, da uživajo v glasbi ob starem rudarskem vhodu "Terezija rov". Ta posebna lokacija dodaja dodatno vrednost, saj povezuje glasbeni dogodek z bogato industrijsko dediščino območja.
Ime društva Cahn je tesno povezano z industrijsko dediščino Trbovelj, saj "Cahn" v lokalnem slengu pomeni "znamenje" – simbol, ki opozarja na preteklost, a hkrati tudi na prihodnost. Naša glasbena scena je podobna- “znamenje” ali most med starim in novim, kar ponazarja našo željo po ohranjanju tradicije, a hkrati napredovanju in inovacijah v glasbeni industriji.
Društvo se redno povezuje z drugimi lokalnimi organizacijami in društvi, saj verjamemo v moč sodelovanja pri doseganju skupnih ciljev. Cilj društva je še naprej zagotavljati prostor za ustvarjanje in razvijanje glasbenih talentov, predvsem mladih izvajalcev, ki se želijo dokazati in pridobiti odrske izkušnje. Ponujamo jim priložnost za nastope in tako jim pomagamo razviti svojo umetniško identiteto ter povečati njihovo prepoznavnost.
S tem želimo aktivno prispevati k boljši lokalni skupnosti in izboljšanju kulturne dinamike v Trbovljah ter širše v Zasavju. Društvo Cahn je prepoznano kot prostor, kjer glasba ni le umetnost, temveč tudi način za povezovanje, ustvarjanje in izmenjavo idej, ki bogatijo našo skupnost. Naš cilj je, da v prihodnosti še naprej rastemo in nudimo podporo mladim talentom, ter tako pozitivno vplivamo na razvoj lokalne kulture.

The Cahn Music Society was founded on February 11, 2019, with a clear mission to fill the void in the music scene in the local area and respond to the lack of music events for young and alternative music groups. The founders of the society recognized the need for a platform that would not only promote alternative music, but also connect music creators and music lovers from different cultural and geographical backgrounds.
The Cahn Society focuses on nurturing and promoting alternative music, especially within the genres of punk, metal and rock, which are often overlooked in this part of Slovenia. One of the main tasks of the society is to organize outdoor music events in the warmer months and in local event venues in the winter. In this way, we want to ensure wider accessibility of music and enable both performers and visitors to have a more authentic and intimate musical experience.
As part of our projects, we pride ourselves on large and small musical events, the most important of which is CahnFest open air Trbovlje - an international music festival that annually attracts performers from various European countries, including Italy, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Croatia and Slovenia. This festival plays an important role in promoting cultural exchange, as it allows musicians from different countries to connect and collaborate on a unique musical platform.
In addition, the association also runs Laudšprehrju Ringlšpil, a project that gives Slovenian alternative bands the opportunity to present their music to a wider audience. It is an event that has become recognizable and popular, as it offers an opportunity for both new and established bands to show themselves on the local music scene. We also organize the Music Picnic, which focuses on outdoor performances. The location of the event, a green area in the center of the old mining settlement of Terezija, offers a unique atmosphere, allowing visitors to enjoy the music at the old mining entrance "Terezija rov". This special location adds additional value, as it connects the musical event with the rich industrial heritage of the area.
The name of the Cahn association is closely connected to the industrial heritage of Trbovelj, as "Cahn" in local slang means "landmark" - a symbol that points to the past, but also to the future. Our music scene is similar to a "landmark" or a bridge between the old and the new, which illustrates our desire to preserve tradition, but at the same time progress and innovation in the music industry.
The association regularly connects with other local organizations and societies, as we believe in the power of cooperation in achieving common goals. The aim of the association is to continue to provide a space for the creation and development of musical talents, especially young performers who want to prove themselves and gain stage experience. We offer them the opportunity to perform and thus help them develop their artistic identity and increase their recognition.
In this way, we want to actively contribute to a better local community and improve the cultural dynamics in Trbovlje and the wider Zasavje region. The Cahn Society is recognized as a place where music is not only art, but also a way to connect, create and exchange ideas that enrich our community. Our goal is to continue to grow in the future and provide support to young talents, thus positively influencing the development of local culture.

Glasbeni Piknik se osredotoča na edinstveno povezavo med poslušalcem in umetnikom, ki se odvija v zeleni oazi na prostem, kjer glasba postane most med ljudmi. Glasbeni Piknik se odvija v zelenem kotičku mesta, na letnem prizorišču društva Cahn. Tu se zvoki instrumentov prepletajo z zvoki mesta, ustvarjajoč posebno vzdušje, ki ga dopolnjujejo lahkotni pogovori in druženje.
Za razliko od običajnih dogodkov, kjer je pozornost usmerjena predvsem na hrano, Glasbeni Piknik postreže nekaj povsem drugega – note. Na teh dogodkih se lahko obiskovalci prepustijo raznovrstnim glasbenim žanrom, od nežnega akustičnega rocka do mogočnega death metala. Ne glede na glasnost ozvočenja, ki ostaja dosledno skozi vse zvrsti, se dogodek ne spreminja v kaotičen zmedo, temveč postane prepletanje glasbenih svetov, ki obiskovalce popeljejo v novo izkušnjo. To je pravo mesto za ljubitelje glasbe, ki želijo doživeti nekaj več – prostor, kjer se glasba in druženje povežeta v eno.
Music Picnic focuses on the unique connection between listener and artist, taking place in a green oasis in the open air, where music becomes a bridge between people. Music Picnic takes place in a green corner of the city, at the annual venue of the Cahn Society. Here, the sounds of instruments intertwine with the sounds of the city, creating a special atmosphere, complemented by light conversations and socializing. Unlike usual events, where the focus is mainly on food, Music Picnic serves something completely different – music. At these events, visitors can indulge in a variety of musical genres, from gentle acoustic rock to powerful death metal. Regardless of the volume of the sound system, which remains consistent throughout all genres, the event does not turn into a chaotic mess, but becomes an interweaving of musical worlds that take visitors into a new experience. This is the right place for music lovers who want to experience something more – a place where music and socializing merge into one.
